Wrinkles & Lines

Close up skin texture showing fine lines and skin quality in anti-wrinkle treatment at AHA Skin Aest

Refining movement. Softening Lines.

Wrinkles and  lines develop over time through repeated facial movement. The way the face moves, not just the skin itself, determines how these lines form, deepen, and settle.

Treatment is focused on guiding movement, not removing it, allowing the face to retain natural expression while softening visible change.

Movement is refined, not restricted.

Treatment Approach

facial anatomy and muscle movement assessment for wrinkles and lines treatment at AHA Skin Aesthetic

Movement explanation

Treatment is guided by how individual muscles function, their strength, pattern of movement, and influence on surrounding structures.

The aim is to reduce targeted muscle activity where appropriate, without creating a fixed or over-treated appearance.

The degree of change is adjusted based on how the face naturally moves, ensuring outcomes remain subtle and consistent with the individual.

Planning considers how movement interacts with skin quality and underlying support, allowing for a controlled and balanced approach.

Movement Patterns Assessed

Assessment considers how individual muscles contribute to facial movement and visible change over time.

  • Forehead movement patterns
  • Frown complex activity
  • Brow position and balance
  • Lateral eye contraction (crow's feet)
  • Nasal movement  patterns
  • Chin muscle activity (dimpling)
  • Downward pull at the corners of the  mouth
  • Jaw tension or clenching  (masseter region)
  • Neck band activity (platysma)
  • Facial asymmetry related to muscle dominance

Before Treatment

Treatment involves the use of a prescription-only medication. A consultation is required to assess medical history, suitability, and potential risks.

Outcomes vary between individuals and are temporary in nature. Not all patients are appropriate candidates for treatment.
